Catherine Edmunds is an Equality, Diversity, Inclusion Officer for the English Football League.

Company Overview

Founded in 1888, the English Football League is a competitive sports league that features professional football teams based in England and Wales. Commonly referred to as the EFL, the English Football League is the oldest professional football league in the world. 

The Learning Objectives and Challenges

Catherine decided to attend our CMI Level 7 - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Programme in order to learn more about EDI best practice and knowledge. They also wanted to learn more about the psychology, theories and models that reinforce the learning

The Learning Experience

Catherine found learning about the psychology of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion to be interesting. She enjoyed learning from the wide range of theories, models and additional reading links that was featured on the programme. Catherine also enjoyed the opportunity that the course provided for her to talk to peers and to learn from their own unique skills, varied experiences and different sectors that they work in. 

How Has Your Training Benefited You So Far?

Catherine has learned from the theories, models, reading links and group discussions with peers, and she has taken forward the learning into her Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the English Football League.
