Kate McLaren is the General Manager for Customer Quality for Kia. 

Company Overview

Kia is a South Korean multinational automobile manufacturer. Owned by parent company Hyundai, Kia is South Korea's second largest car manufacturer.

The Learning Objectives and Challenges

Kate McLaren attended the programme to learn new skills that will be useful to her role. Design thinking was a skill she wanted to learn more about. She also wanted to learn the theory behind developing a digital ready culture within her workplace. On attending the programme, Kate also wanted to learn the tools and the frameworks needed to develop this digital culture. She wanted to learn how to define and implement digital projects. 

The Learning Experience

Kate found the programme to be excellent. She found the trainer to be very engaging. She also found the trainer to be very intelligent on the subject matter. They kept the pace throughout the programme, keeping delegates engaged throughout the 3 day programme.  

How Has Your Training Benefited You So Far?

The skill that benefitted Kate the most was the teachings on design thinking. Kate found this to be the most useful to her role. She also found this skill to be the most easy to implement in her role.
