CPD Points and Accreditation

Maintaining and developing your professional knowledge is an essential part of today’s challenging and competitive workplace.

It is essential for professionals to engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure their Academic and professional qualifications don’t become out-dated regardless of their professional background. Often, professionals who are members of a professional body or work within a regulated sector are required to participate in and record their CPD on an annual basis.

What is CPD

CPD is a process by which you manage, record and track your own professional development on an ongoing basis. It’s a way of planning your development that links learning directly to your role and industry.

Importantly, your learning and development is unique to you. Through a combination of approaches and activities such as training, workshops, e-learning, conferences and events CPD enables you to manage your own learning and growth.

The learning value has been scrutinised to ensure integrity and quality.

Recognising CPD

We offer a number of CPD Accredited programmes that have be rigorously developed and the learning value has been scrutinised to ensure integrity and quality.

Our CPD Accredited Programmes, course, workshops and events allow professionals to use the learning time towards individual CPD requirements.

All CPD Accredited Programmes will carry the CPD Accredited Programme logo

How it Works

It could not be simpler. Each CPD Accredited Programme will be awarded a different number of points depending on the level, content and duration of the learning.

CPD Accredited Programmes will specify the number of points available on the course overview and these points can be used towards your own CPD. Remember, always check with your employer, professional or regulatory body.
